Shasta farm bureau scholarship recipients 


The 2019 SCFB Scholarship Will open in January 2019

Scholarships are available to Shasta County students, current or previously, who are current Farm Bureau members.

The applicant must plan on attending college next year, carrying 12 or more units, and majoring in agriculture.

The scholarship is available to both high school seniors and current college students.

The recipients will be awarded a Certificate at the Shasta Farm Bureau 23rd Annual Spring Social on April 20, 2019 at the Shasta District Fairgrounds.

Wayde Henderson – Bud Farrell Memorial Scholarship ​$1,000.00
Wayde is the son of Troy and Loni Henderson.  Wayde graduated from West Valley High School and is currently attending California State University, Chico.  He is working to obtain a degree in Animal Science and a career in Beef Cattle Production

Camille Pryde – Maggie Greco Scholarship $1,000.00

Camille is the daughter of Kevin and Mary Pryde.  She is  a Senior at Anderson High School. Camille will begin her college career at Brigham Young University in the fall majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Agriculture Engineering.

Dalton Nichols – Maggie Greco Scholarship $1,000.00

Dalton is the son of Fletcher Nichols and Deanna Metzger, a senior at West Valley High School.  He is planning to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obsipo in the fall to start working on a Bachelor Degree in Ag Communications.  Dalton’s goal is to be an Agriculture lawyer.

Taylor Gallaty – Maggie Greco Scholarship

Taylor is the daughter of Seth and Fara Gallaty.  She is currently a senior at West Valley High School and plans to attend Chico State in the fall.  Taylor’s goal is to obtain a degree in Agriculture Business and a career in the Ag industry.

Gracen Santinelli – Schmitt Family Scholarship $1,000.00

Gracen is the daughter of David and Reielle Santinelli.  She is currently a student at Shasta College.  Gracen plans to become a ranch manager once she completes her college career.

Robee Knoch – Andy Peek Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00

Robee is the son of Craig and Christine Knoch, a senior at Fall River High School.  Robee plans to attend Cal Poly SLO in the fall.  His goal is to become a veterinarian.

Shaylee Perry – Ross Hamilton Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00

Shaylee is the daughter of Chris and Kim Perry.  She is a senior at West Valley High School.  Shaylee will be working to obtain a degree in Agriculture Education at either Chico State or Montana State University in the fall.

Wesley Woolery – Nor Cal Tractor Club / SCFB $1,000.00

Wesley is the son of Wes and Ruth Woolery.  He is currently attending Colorado State University working on his bachelors in Agriculture Business.  Wesley plans to come back to his hometown of Hat Creek to help run his family’s ranch. 

Mira Reginato – Crown Motors / SCFB $1,000.00

Mira is the daughter of Aaron and Michelle Reginato.  She is a senior at West Valley High School.  Mira will be attending Oregon State in the fall to start her college career in Agriculture Business.

Kristen Nash – Viticulture Association / SCFB $1,000.00

Kristen is the daughter of Bob and Mary Nash.  She is currently attending Chico State.  Kristen is obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering and plans to work in the Timber or Agriculture industry.
Reed Pritchard – Claris Myer Memorial $1,000.00

Reed is the son of Matt and Tessa Pritchard.  Currently attending Shasta College, Reed is working to be able to transfer to Chico State.  He plans to become an Agriculture Lawyer.
